European hair is sourced from Europe. European hair is thick with an evenly hair structure that is naturally silky and shiny.

What is Single Donor Hair?

Single donor hair is sourced from one donor. This donors ponytail is then recreated to Base Hair Extensions. We do not allow for any foreign hair strands to be mixed with our hair, ensuring it 100% single donor Russian Hair. Single donor hair is the most superior and versatile hair extension quality available on the market.

What does it mean to be Remy cuticle aligned?

Remy cuticle aligned hair is considered to be of the finest quality. This is the type of hair in which the cuticles are kept intact. A completely natural appearance is created by preserving the cuticles and aligning them in one single direction. The process ensures that the hair remains silky, shiny, soft, and absolutely tangle and matt free.

What does double drawn mean?

Double drawn hair refers to hair extensions that are all the same length, with very few shorter hairs mixed through. Base Hair Extensions are thick from root too ends.

What is the lifespan of Base Hair Extensions?

With the right care, the lifespan of Base Hair Extensions Luxury Range is 12+ months, and 3-3 months for the Premium Range.

Do you offer a warranty?

Absolutely, should there be any issue at all, we will work with you to manage the issue. Our team will access and provide an outcome right away however, we will only access a situation if and when the client forms (Consultation, Client Agreement and Warranty Forms) are provided to our team for our review completed. This means each form is signed by yourself (or team member) and your client. We suggest these forms are filed at your place of business, and can be reviewed by yourself and our team should they be required. If the forms cannot be provided, the warranty is not valid. The warranty will also be waived if the hair extensions are customised by altering their original formation, e.g weft or tape hair extensions changed to keratin bond hair extensions. Your clients warranty will also be waived if they attend another salon to have their hair extensions serviced. This means, your client cannot have their Base Hair Extensions cut, coloured or maintained (retape, rebonded or reinstalled etc) by another business/salon. We will not accept warranty claims for clients who have had the Luxury and Premium Ranges used together.

How long is the warranty valid for?

LUXURY RANGE - As per the information provided on the Warranty Form, your client must provide any feedback within (2) weeks. Any product related issues will be evident during this period. Post the (2) weeks timeframe, we will not accept client feedback as any product issues post this period will be due to external matters such as wrong haircare and maintenance, overheated hot tools or not following care instructions. We will however review and access any product or quality issues, and provide an outcome right away. The clients warranty will be completely disregarded should they have their Base Hair Extensions serviced else where. This means, your client cannot have their Base Hair Extensions cut, coloured or maintained (retape, rebonded or reinstalled) by another business/salon. 

PREMIUM RANGE - Your clients feedback must be provided within (1) week. Any product related issues will be evident during this period. Post the (1) week timeframe, we will not accept client feedback as any product issues post this period will be due to external matters such as wrong haircare and maintenance, overheated hot tools or not following care instructions. We will however review and access any product or quality issues, and provide an outcome right away. What is the delivery timeframe of my order?

Delivery in Melbourne is the same day, with next day delivery for the rest of Australia.

Can I colour the Base Hair Extensions?

Yes absolutely, we do recommend you conduct a test patch first. To see the wonderful work our stockists have created with different colours, please visit our @basehairprofessiobal Instagram page. You can always contact our Education Team to confirm any questions or queries pre conducting any colouring.

What haircare brands do you recommend?

We recommend Sarah and Jade Haircare.Please be sure to review each range offered by these brands and check ingredients before recommending to your clients as each range varies. A Base Hair Extensions haircare range is currently in development and will launch in March 2024.

Avoid using products that contain Protein (synthetic and natural), SLS, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Alcohol Denat, Ethanol, SD Alcohol 40, Propanol, Isopropyl, and Propyl, as these can be harsh on the hair and may cause damage.

Of course always advice your clients to use a heat protectant pre using hot tools.

What temperature do I use on my hot tools?

Hot tools must not exceed the below temperatures.

Light hair - 120 degrees

Dark hair - 150 degrees

Always use a hair protectant to protect the hair pre using hot tools.
